IFTRA 2024

Teacher regulatory authorities joined us from around the world in Brisbane for the IFTRA Conference.

In 2024 the Queensland College of Teachers in conjunction with other Australian Teacher Regulatory Authorities hosted the International Forum of Teacher Regulatory Authorities Conference with the assistance of sponsor Queensland University of Technology Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice. The conference featured keynote speakers Andreas Schleicher, Director for Education and Skills at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and Professor Peter Shergold AC, former Vice Chancellor of Western Sydney university and current Board Chair of the NSW Education Standards Authority.
