The QCT may grant registration, permission to teach or renewal of full registration with a condition. A condition is only imposed if the QCT is reasonably satisfied the condition is necessary to ensure the applicant meets requirements under the Education (Queensland College of Teachers) Act 2005.
Details of the condition, why it was imposed and how to comply are included on the approval notice which is issued on granting registration or renewal.
How to comply with a condition will be detailed in the approval notice. Failure to comply with a registration condition can have implications for a teacher’s registration and may result in suspension or cancellation of registration or refusal to grant renewal of registration.
A person may make a written application to the QCT requesting that a condition be reviewed, amended or cancelled.
