All Queensland registered teachers are invited to contribute to the 2023 Australian Teacher Workforce Survey (formerly ATWD) via a short 10-minute survey.
The data collected will provide a comprehensive picture of the teaching experience, from entry into the profession to end of teaching career and will help inform the future of the teaching profession. The latest data is available via the ATWD Key Metrics Dashboard.
All registered teachers will receive a unique link via email on Wednesday 23 August, which will give them access to complete the survey securely.
Participation in the survey is voluntary but it is extremely important as it will help build a stronger understanding of the characteristics of Australian teachers. Registered teachers will be able to provide valuable information about their teaching experience such as:

The Australian Teacher Workforce Survey is a joint initiative between, and is funded by, all state, territory and Commonwealth governments. It is being implemented by AITSL in partnership with the Australian Government Department of Education, state and territory governments, teacher regulatory authorities and the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW); under the auspice of the ATWD Oversight Board.
