Samantha Ephraims has dedicated over 20 years to enriching education in the Bundaberg region, with a focus on digital technologies and STEM subjects.

At Kalkie State School, she has developed a vertically aligned digital technologies curriculum and encouraged a culture of curiosity and innovation. Her hands-on approach has connected students with real-world applications, from exploring agricultural robotics on local farms to competing in international STEM challenges like RoboRave, in which her students have earned gold and silver trophies.

She actively secures grants and sponsorships to remove financial barriers, enabling all students to participate in excursions and competitions. Beyond the classroom, Samantha mentors her fellow educators, leads professional development workshops, and chairs the school's eSafety Committee.
