Kerry Daud's innovative approach to integrating technology into education has transformed learning experiences at St Margaret's Anglican Girls School and beyond.
As the Head of Faculty, Digital Innovation and Design, Kerry has developed programs that empower students, including the Girls in Gaming competition, which provides a safe and inclusive space for female students to explore esports. Since its inception in 2022, the program has grown significantly, with more than 100 participants from multiple schools in 2024 and adoption by the Queensland Girls Secondary Schools Association in 2025.
Kerry's commitment to ethical and productive use of emerging technologies is evident in her creation of 'M@ggies Digital', an online hub offering resources and workshops on AI and e-safety. Her leadership extends to the broader education community through her role as Vice President of the Queensland Schools Network for Emerging Technologies, where she fosters collaboration among dozens of schools. With a Master's in Innovative Learning Design and ongoing digital transformation studies, Kerry exemplifies lifelong learning.
